Four men indicted on federal kidnapping charge in Denver

Four men have been indicted on charges of kidnapping in Denver, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado. Darwin Veliz-Gonzalez, Jose Daniel Pineda-Moreno, Jeffrerson Balza-Delfin, and Yender Enrique Campos-Malave face one count each for unlawfully seizing, confining, kidnapping, abducting, and holding an unidentified victim for ransom.

Balza-Delfin and Campos-Malave appeared before Magistrate Judge Cyrus Y. Chung. Veliz-Gonzalez and Pineda-Moreno are expected to appear at a later date.

The investigation is being conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Denver Field Office and the Denver Police Department. The case is prosecuted by the Violent Crimes and Immigration Enforcement section of the United States Attorney’s Office.
