Damon Lee West, a 45-year-old resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to 21 months in prison for distributing methamphetamine. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma made the announcement.
The charge resulted from an investigation conducted by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, the Okemah Police Department, and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. On July 23, 2024, West pleaded guilty to distributing approximately 28 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine on September 20, 2023.
Chief U.S. District Judge Ronald A. White presided over the hearing in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. West will remain in custody with the U.S. Marshals Service until he is transported to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve his non-paroleable sentence.
