TechNet has appointed Robert Boykin as Executive Director for California and the Southwest Region. Boykin will manage TechNet’s state advocacy efforts in California, Nevada, Hawaii, and Arizona.

We are delighted to have him join the team.”
Boykin comes from the California Association of Health Plans (CAHP), where he was a legislative advocate. He also served as Government Relations Manager at Argo AI and spent over ten years with the California State Assembly in various roles including Chief of Staff to Assemblymember Jose Medina.
Boykin is a San Jose State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. He will work alongside Deputy Executive Director for California and the Southwest, Jose Torres, starting March 17.

TechNet's 50-state advocacy program involves legislative and regulatory advocacy nationwide. It focuses on building relationships between member companies and policymakers while advancing smart state policy.

- Colorado and Central U.S., led by Ruthie Barko.
- Illinois and Midwest Region, led by Tyler Diers.
- Massachusetts and Northeast Region, led by Chris Gilrein.
- Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic Region, led by Margaret Durkin.
- Texas and South Region, led by Renzo Soto.
- Washington and Northwest Region, led by Rose Feliciano.
