Frank Twing, Sr., a 33-year-old resident of West Stockbridge, Massachusetts, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by 25 years of supervised release. This sentence comes after Twing's admission to the sexual exploitation of a 15-year-old victim and traveling with the intent to engage in unlawful sexual conduct with an approximately 12-year-old victim. The announcement was made by United States Attorney John A. Sarcone III and Craig L. Tremaroli, Special Agent in Charge of the Albany Field Office of the FBI.
Twing admitted to engaging in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old child and creating sexually explicit videos depicting that child. He also confessed to traveling from Massachusetts to New York with plans to have sex with an approximately 12-year-old child.
As part of his sentencing, Twing will forfeit property used in committing these offenses, pay special assessments, and register as a sex offender upon his release from prison.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI’s Albany Division Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force, New York State Police, Massachusetts State Police, and Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Michael D. Gadarian and Benjamin A. Gillis are prosecuting this case under Project Safe Childhood.
