U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies, conducted an enforcement operation in Huntsville, Alabama, resulting in the arrest of 13 individuals identified as illegal aliens. The operation took place on March 25 and targeted criminal offenders residing in the area. Participating agencies included the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Out of the 13 individuals apprehended, eight had previously been deported from the United States and were found to have federal convictions for illegal reentry. The prosecutorial efforts were handled by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama.

The charges against those arrested encompass a range of offenses, including domestic violence, narcotics trafficking, property crimes, and driving while intoxicated.

The operation aligns with ICE's stated goal of ensuring national safety through strategic immigration enforcement and the removal of individuals posing threats to community safety and immigration law integrity. ICE emphasizes that unauthorized entry into the U.S. constitutes a federal law violation, potentially subjecting individuals to administrative arrest or criminal prosecution.

ICE encourages community members to report any crimes or suspicious activities by calling 866-DHS-2-ICE (866-347-2423) or by using the online tip submission form. For more information on ICE’s public safety efforts, updates are available on their social media account: @HSIAtlanta.
