Sigal Chattah takes interim attorney role for District of Nevada

Sigal Chattah has assumed the role of Interim United States Attorney for the District of Nevada following her swearing-in ceremony in Las Vegas. In this position, she will oversee federal criminal prosecutions and civil litigation involving federal interests within the district. Chattah will lead a team of over 100 prosecutors and support staff in offices located in Las Vegas and Reno.

Chattah's professional history includes the establishment of the Chattah Law Group in Las Vegas. Additionally, she has academic experience, having taught Political Science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, from 2005 to 2009.

Her educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law, Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
