The United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania has reported that Eustolio Sanchez-Ramirez, originally from Chiapas, Mexico, has been sentenced for the charge of illegal re-entry into the United States. The sentence, delivered by United States District Judge Jennifer P. Wilson on March 27, 2025, amounts to three months’ imprisonment. This sentence is to run consecutively to any sentence that may be imposed at Dauphin County Magisterial Docket No: CR-796-2024.
Acting United States Attorney John C. Gurganus stated that Sanchez-Ramirez was previously deported from the United States to Mexico in November 2018. He re-entered the country without legal permission sometime after this deportation and was located in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, on December 19, 2024.
The investigation was conducted by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations alongside the Harrisburg Police Bureau. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney David C. Williams.
