Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau and Canadian Deputy Foreign Minister David Morrison held talks to explore how the United States and Canada can pursue shared global objectives. The officials also examined strategies to counter China's influence in the region and discussed stabilizing the security situation in Haiti. Both Landau and Morrison acknowledged the strong U.S.-Canada relationship and emphasized the Secretary of State's commitment to tackling challenges within the region.
