U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has confirmed the arrest of Sabrina Flores, also known as Notorious Marie, and Sandra Pavlock, also referred to as Sondra L. Pavlock, both residents of Jamestown, New York. The two women face separate charges related to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and distribute, heroin, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. These charges could lead to a penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua A. Violanti is handling the case. According to the complaints, both Flores and Pavlock have been connected to Zaid Mendoza. Mendoza, alongside others, has been indicted by a federal grand jury due to charges involving narcotics conspiracy and sex trafficking. Search warrants on certain Facebook accounts revealed multiple communications between Flores, Pavlock, Mendoza, and others, discussing drug and sex trafficking operations. These communications involved the sale and usage of narcotics, specifically heroin and fentanyl, in the Jamestown region.
The investigation is credited to Homeland Security Investigations, led by Special Agent-in-Charge Erin Keegan, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office under Sheriff James Quattrone's leadership, and the Drug Enforcement Administration, managed by Special Agent-in-Charge Frank Tarentino from the New York Field Division.
It is important to note that these charges are merely accusations, and the defendants remain presumed innocent until proven guilty.
