H Block gang member pleads guilty to federal drug conspiracy charges

A member of the Boston-based H-Block gang, Dennis Wilson, also known as “Deuce,” has pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy charges in federal court. Wilson, aged 36 and a long-time member of H Block, admitted to conspiring to distribute controlled substances. His sentencing is set for July 8, 2025, ordered by U.S. District Court Judge Leo T. Sorokin.

The H-Block gang, originating in the 1980s as the Humboldt Raiders, has long been considered one of the most feared gangs in Boston. It is involved in drug trafficking and other violent activities. A multi-year investigation which began in 2021 led to charges against Wilson and nine other gang members in August 2024, addressing an increase in illegal activities linked to the gang.

During the investigation, authorities seized significant quantities of illegal substances, including over 500 grams of cocaine and fentanyl. Also found were over 20,000 doses of drug-laced paper. Wilson actively participated in drug dealings with undercover officers from 2022 to 2023, as highlighted by the charging documents.

The sentence for Wilson's charges could reach up to 20 years of imprisonment, with potential fines up to $1 million and a period of supervised release.

This case is pursued by U.S. Attorney Leah B. Foley in cooperation with multiple law enforcement agencies, including the DEA, FBI, and Boston Police. Assistant U.S. Attorney John T. Dawley and Justice Department official Jeremy Franker are handling prosecutions. The Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) played a pivotal role in the investigation.

Authorities have emphasized that the details in the charging documents are allegations, with the remaining defendants presumed innocent until proven guilty.
