Matthew R. Molsen United States Attorney for the District of Nebraska | U.S. Attorney for the District of Nebraska
A multi-agency operation conducted in central Nebraska has resulted in the arrest of eight individuals on federal drug charges, with an additional five arrested on state charges. Acting United States Attorney Matthew R. Molsen announced the arrests, which took place on March 26, 2025, following the execution of multiple search warrants and the unsealing of various indictments.
Manuel Enrique Corona-Ramirez, Shawn Norris, Trevor Hardin, and Omar Gonzalez-Garcia were charged in a superseding indictment with conspiracy to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine from March 1, 2024, to February 5, 2025. Reyes Ernesto Garcia-Urquizo and Enrique Martinez, who had been arrested a month earlier, are also included in the conspiracy count. Those convicted face potential penalties ranging from 10 years to life in prison, along with fines up to $10 million and supervised release of at least five years.
Additionally, a separate indictment was unsealed against Adelso Saravia and Adriana Zepeda Rivera for conspiracy to distribute over 50 grams of methamphetamine between October 3, 2024, and November 30, 2024. The penalties for this charge also carry the possibility of 10 years to life imprisonment, a fine of up to $10 million, and at least five years of supervised release.
The investigation was conducted by the Cooperative Operations for Drug Enforcement (CODE) Task Force, which operates across a 22-county region in west-central and southwest Nebraska, in coordination with federal partners such as Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Support was also provided by local agencies including the Tri-Cities Drug Enforcement Team (TRIDENT), Cozad Police Department, Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, Lexington Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, North Platte Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
This operation is part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) initiative, which targets and dismantles high-level criminal organizations threatening the United States through a multi-agency, intelligence-driven approach. Further information about this program is available on the Department of Justice website.
It is important to note that an indictment is merely an allegation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
