Jorge Cazhco-Inamagua, a resident of Bloomington, Minnesota, originally from Ecuador, faces charges of attempted enticement of a minor. Acting U.S. Attorney Lisa D. Kirkpatrick announced the federal charge against Cazhco-Inamagua, who reportedly sought to involve a minor in explicit conduct on March 12, 2025.
Court records show that the 32-year-old was unlawfully in the United States, despite a previous deportation order. Cazhco-Inamagua was charged with one count of enticement of a minor. He appeared in U.S. District Court before Magistrate Judge John F. Docherty and remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
“The U.S. Attorney’s Office will continue to prioritize the prosecution of sexual predators—particularly those who would prey on minors,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Lisa D. Kirkpatrick. “I am grateful to the Bloomington Police Department, to Homeland Security Investigations, and to all law enforcement officers who use undercover operations to identify and arrest child sex predators to prevent them from abusing real children.”
The investigation was conducted by the Bloomington Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations, and the case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew D. Evans.
It is important to note that a complaint is purely an allegation, and Cazhco-Inamagua is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
