A Danville man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for his involvement in a fentanyl distribution conspiracy. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Anthony D. Bressi, aged 53, received the sentence from Chief United States District Judge Matthew W. Brann on April 15, 2025. Bressi was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and possession with intent to distribute.
Acting United States Attorney John C. Gurganus stated that from 2016 to June 2019, Bressi manufactured more than 150 kilograms of fentanyl in a lab located in East Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania. Bressi distributed the fentanyl and its analogues to two distributors: Terry Harris in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Damonico Henderson in the Cleveland, Ohio area. The conspiracy among Bressi, Harris, and Henderson began while they were in federal prison, where Bressi was serving a 20-year sentence for manufacturing methamphetamine and explosives.
Bressi was found guilty by a jury following a week-long trial on November 4, 2024. His accomplices, Harris and Henderson, had previously pleaded guilty and were each sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pennsylvania State Police. Assistant United States Attorneys Geoffrey MacArthur, Jeffrey St. John, and Alisan Martin led the prosecution.
The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a nationwide initiative aiming to reduce violent crime and gun violence.
