A Harvard-Harris Poll conducted in April 2025 indicates that 69% of voters support efforts to identify and eliminate fraud and waste in government spending. In contrast, only 31% favor reducing federal expenditures by $1 trillion. The poll also reveals broad voter support for balancing the budget, reducing overall spending, and reviewing current government programs.

DOGE is dedicated to optimizing government spending by reducing waste and ensuring accountability in contract management. By reviewing expenditures and canceling non-essential contracts, DOGE aims to enhance fiscal responsibility and improve public resource allocation effectiveness.
