U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) personnel held their first Global Entry Mobile Enrollment event in Oklahoma City at the Will Rogers International Airport on April 14-15. The event led to the enrollment of over 400 local travelers. This two-day initiative was conducted ahead of the new international terminal's opening later this year.

Michael S. Pequano, Oklahoma City CBP Port Director, was joined by the Global Entry enrollment team from DFW Airport to facilitate the enrollments of new applicants in the area. The Global Entry program offers expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers when entering the United States by allowing members to use processing technology at selected airports.

“There is a growing appetite for a local Global Entry Enrollment Center in Oklahoma City,” Pequano stated. He also expressed optimism about future events with the OKC partners due to the success of this initiative.

CBP is planning another mobile enrollment event to align with the opening of the new OKC international terminal later this year.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection serves as the nation's largest law enforcement organization and leads as the world’s primary unified border management agency. With over 65,000 employees, CBP is tasked with protecting America across land, air, and sea, while facilitating safe travel and trade, and enhancing national security.
