Harrisburg man sentenced to 15 years for drug and firearm offenses

Antoine Manning, a 46-year-old resident of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. This decision was handed down by United States District Judge Jennifer P. Wilson, as announced by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Acting United States Attorney John C. Gurganus stated that on February 17, 2020, police in Harrisburg responded to a report of an armed individual at a rooming house. Upon their arrival, officers observed Manning exiting the residence and discarding an object, later identified by police as a loaded Sig Sauer semiautomatic pistol. Following Manning's apprehension, officers discovered he was carrying 4.22 grams of cocaine, a digital scale with white powder residue, a cellphone, and $223 in cash.

This case was a collaborative investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Harrisburg Police Department, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Scalera leading the prosecution.
