Dallas man receives ten-year sentence for meth trafficking

A Dallas man has been sentenced to a decade in federal prison for his involvement in methamphetamine trafficking in the Eastern District of Texas. The announcement was made by Acting U.S. Attorney Abe McGlothin, Jr.

Emmanuel Robles, aged 39, pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine. On May 5, 2025, U.S. District Judge Robert W. Schroeder III handed down the sentence of 120 months in federal prison.

Court documents revealed that from 2019 to 2021, Robles worked with others to transport methamphetamine into East Texas for distribution. Over this period, he distributed more than 1.5 kilograms of actual methamphetamine. Robles confessed to supplying controlled substances to a co-conspirator on multiple occasions between July 2019 and April 2020. Additionally, Robles agreed to forfeit a money judgment amounting to $20,000.

The investigation into this case was conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, the Texas Department of Public Safety – Criminal Investigation Division, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Assistant U.S. Attorney Alan Jackson prosecuted the case.
