The CEOs of three major digital asset trade associations have called on the Senate to prioritize the GENIUS Act for debate. The act is seen as crucial for establishing a comprehensive regulatory framework that would support stablecoin adoption and maintain U.S. dollar dominance in the digital economy.

In a joint statement, Kristin Smith, CEO of the Blockchain Association; Ji Kim, Acting CEO of the Crypto Council for Innovation; and Cody Carbone, CEO of The Digital Chamber, emphasized the importance of advancing this legislation. "We are grateful for the significant strides the GENIUS Act has already made," they stated, expressing hope for further refinements to bolster U.S. leadership in digital finance.

The CEOs urged Senators to vote in favor of moving forward with consideration of the GENIUS Act, viewing it as a step toward enacting a bipartisan stablecoin framework.
