The Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) Office has released a video featuring the parents of Matthew Denice, who was killed by an illegal alien driving under the influence in 2011. The incident occurred when the driver ran a stop sign, causing Denice to be knocked off his motorcycle and dragged for a quarter mile, resulting in his death at age 23.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and former President Donald Trump have expressed their support for victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens and their families. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated, "Far too many American lives have been lost because of illegal aliens driving drunk, including Mathew Denice, Sarah Root, and so many others." She emphasized that these individuals should still be present in their communities today.
The VOICE Office has been reopened by President Trump and Secretary Noem to provide services to victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens. The office was initially established in 2017 during Trump's administration but was closed by the previous administration.
Several other Americans have also lost their lives due to similar incidents involving illegal aliens driving under the influence. Among them are Ivory Smith, Maverick Martzen, Alex “AJ” Wise Jr., Taliyah Crochet, Rylan Oncale, Anya Varfolomeev, Nicholay Osokin, Katie Abraham, Grayson Davis, Police Officer David Lee, Melissa Powell and her son Riordan Powell, and Robert Boles.
On April 10th, Secretary Noem officially relaunched the VOICE Office to ensure that victims of immigration-related crimes have access to necessary support services and resources.
