Shawn Michael Bork, a 49-year-old resident of Mount Clare, West Virginia, has been sentenced to 180 months in federal prison for methamphetamine distribution in Harrison County. The sentence follows an investigation and subsequent court proceedings that revealed Bork's involvement in drug trafficking activities.
Court documents disclosed that Bork utilized social media platforms as part of his drug trafficking operations. A search conducted at his residence led to the discovery of a firearm, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and $166,315 in cash stored in a duffle bag. Bork's criminal history includes previous convictions related to domestic violence order violations, harassment, obstruction, transporting controlled substances into a prison facility, and drug trafficking offenses.
Following the completion of his prison term, Bork will be subject to three years of supervised release. The prosecution was led by Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Cogar.
The Greater Harrison Drug Task Force spearheaded the investigation as part of its HIDTA-funded efforts. Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh oversaw the case proceedings.
