His ongoing role at the Treasury aims to leverage his experience and expertise in support of the President’s America First agenda.
McKernan's background includes service on the Board of Directors of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and holding senior positions at both the Federal Housing Finance Agency and within the U.S. Senate. Prior to his government roles, he worked as an attorney specializing in banking and consumer finance laws.
