Senator Cassidy hosts event on strengthening access to charter schools

U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy will host an event on May 15 to discuss enhancing access to charter schools. The event, titled "Chartering Excellence: A Policy Briefing on Charter School Innovation," aims to explore how charter schools can provide students with tailored educational opportunities. The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools supports this initiative, aligning with Cassidy's efforts to expand educational choices for families.

The briefing will include a panel of charter school leaders from various regions who will discuss the role of charter schools in student empowerment and success.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 11:30 AM ET (10:30 AM CT) and will take place at the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington. It will be available for live viewing online.

Members of the press interested in attending are requested to RSVP by contacting Stephen Lewerenz via email.
