Schenectady man sentenced to over 15 years for meth distribution

Patrick Tucker, a 28-year-old resident of Schenectady, New York, has been sentenced to 188 months in prison for distributing methamphetamine. The announcement was made by United States Attorney John A. Sarcone III and Frank A. Tarentino III, Special Agent in Charge of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), New York Division.

Tucker's guilty plea included an admission of distributing methamphetamine on three separate occasions between January and March 2023. During his pretrial release, Tucker evaded supervision and led law enforcement on a high-speed chase that was eventually halted for safety concerns. When apprehended by deputies from the United States Marshal Service, he was found with additional drugs.

United States District Judge Anne M. Nardacci has also mandated that Tucker serve a four-year term of supervised release following his imprisonment.

The case was investigated by the DEA and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Dustin C. Segovia.
