Marietta man receives thirty-year sentence for child exploitation

Jukobie Allen Ramsey, a 22-year-old resident of Marietta, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to 360 months in prison for the sexual exploitation of a child. This was announced by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. The sentence includes a lifetime term of supervised release following imprisonment.

The investigation leading to Ramsey's conviction involved the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Love County Sheriff’s Office. Ramsey pleaded guilty on December 4, 2024, admitting to engaging in sexually explicit conduct with a minor from May 2021 until April 29, 2024. These actions were carried out to produce and transmit visual depictions via the internet.

This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative launched by the Department of Justice in May 2006 aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse. It involves collaboration between federal, state, and local resources to prosecute offenders and rescue victims.

Authorities encourage individuals with information on child exploitation activities to report through various channels such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or law enforcement agencies like the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations.

Chief U.S. District Judge Ronald A. White presided over Ramsey's hearing in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Until his transfer to a designated Bureau of Prisons facility, Ramsey remains in custody under the U.S. Marshals Service for his non-paroleable sentence.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Dak T. Cohen represented the United States in this case.
