Knockro recalls yogurt parfaits over undeclared almond content

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Knockro Inc., based in Pennsylvania, has announced a recall of its Bonya-branded yogurt parfaits due to the presence of undeclared almonds. The granola component in some of these products contains almonds, which were not disclosed on the label. This poses a risk for individuals with almond allergies or severe sensitivities, as they could experience serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products.

The affected yogurt parfaits were distributed nationwide through retail stores. They are packaged in 12-ounce clear plastic cups and have an expiration date of May 5, 2025.

To date, no illnesses have been reported related to this issue. The recall was initiated after it was found that the product containing almonds was distributed without proper labeling. An investigation revealed that the problem resulted from a temporary breakdown in the company's production and packaging processes.

Consumers who have purchased these Bonya-branded yogurt parfaits are advised to return them to their place of purchase for a full refund. For further inquiries, consumers can contact Knockro Inc. at 914-313-6905.
