Hancock County man admits to methamphetamine trafficking

Lawrence James Reagan, a 40-year-old resident of Colliers, West Virginia, has admitted to methamphetamine distribution in Hancock County. Court documents reveal that Reagan, also known as "Larry," engaged in the sale of methamphetamine.

Reagan could face a prison sentence of up to 20 years. The final decision will be made by a federal district court judge who will consider the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines along with other statutory factors.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Carly Nogay on behalf of the government. The investigation was conducted by the Hancock/Brooke/Weirton Drug Task Force, which is funded by HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas).

U.S. Magistrate Judge James P. Mazzone presided over the proceedings.
