The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) released a statement from Carla Sands, Vice Chair of the Center for Energy & Environment, regarding Senate Joint Resolution 50.

"Senate Joint Resolution 50 marks another critical step in rolling back Biden-era overreach," Sands said. "President Trump is restoring Americans’ right to choose while putting more money back in their pockets. It’s time to say goodbye to costly, inefficient appliances!"

Sands emphasized that by rejecting the Department of Energy’s standards, Congress has sent a clear message about consumer choice. "Americans deserve the right to choose the appliances that best suit their needs," she said.

The America First Policy Institute expressed its support for Congress's decision and looks forward to a future where innovation and consumer choice are prioritized in American homes.
