Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning has expressed approval for certain tax provisions included in the House Ways and Means Committee's reconciliation legislation.
"The Aerospace Industries Association welcomes the tax policies included in the Ways and Means Committee bill that will incentivize job creation and American manufacturing, including the return to immediate research and development expensing," Fanning stated. He emphasized that this policy is crucial for America's aerospace and defense companies, particularly small businesses dependent on cash flow, as it helps maintain technological leadership.
Fanning also acknowledged the efforts of Chairman Smith and his committee members, along with Representatives Estes and Larson, for their roles in advocating this tax measure.
