The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has announced that the One Big Beautiful Bill Act will be a key vote for the 119th Congress. NFIB, a prominent small business advocacy group, has sent a letter to the U.S. House of Representatives urging support for this legislation, which they describe as historic in its pro-Main Street policies.
Adam Temple, NFIB Senior Vice President for Advocacy, stated, "The One Big Beautiful Bill Act includes the most important thing Congress can do to help small businesses and their workers– increasing and making the Small Business Deduction permanent." He added that the bill offers tax cuts through lower individual rates, encourages new capital investments, and aids small business owners in providing better health care benefits to employees. Temple emphasized that members of Congress have an opportunity to offer over 33 million small business owners permanent tax relief.
NFIB has been advocating for America's small and independent business owners for over 80 years. The organization is nonprofit, nonpartisan, and member-driven since its founding in 1943. More information about NFIB can be found on their website.
