A Davenport man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for his involvement in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. Jason Douglas Ringold, 26, was found responsible for distributing over ten pounds of methamphetamine and illegally possessing and selling firearms while on parole in Iowa.
Ringold's co-conspirators, Rosston Tate, 40, and Kyle Ogden Antle, 23, also residents of the Quad Cities, were previously sentenced to similar terms. Tate received his sentence in December 2024, while Antle was sentenced in March 2025. All three individuals will serve a five-year term of supervised release following their imprisonment.
The case against Ringold was announced by United States Attorney Richard D. Westphal from the Southern District of Iowa. The investigation involved multiple law enforcement agencies including the Davenport Police Department, Iowa Department of Public Safety—Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Rock Island Police Department, Scott County Sheriff’s Office, and Bettendorf Police Department.
This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), an initiative aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence through collaboration between law enforcement agencies and community organizations. The program emphasizes building trust within communities and setting strategic enforcement priorities.
