A Heart Butte man, Bradley Joseph Guardipee, was sentenced to 272 months in prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release for sexually assaulting multiple minors. The U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme announced the sentencing, which was handed down by Chief U.S. District Judge Brian M. Morris.

Guardipee, aged 27, had pleaded guilty earlier this year to two counts of aggravated sexual abuse and one count of committing a sex offense as a registered sex offender. Court documents revealed that Jane Doe 3 reported being assaulted by Guardipee in 2022 when she was just 11 years old. She alleged that while she was home sick from school, Guardipee assaulted her in Heart Butte.

Further allegations were made by Jane Doe 1, who claimed she had been abused by Guardipee since the age of three. A specific incident occurred on March 6, 2024, when she was driven to Browning with Guardipee and his grandfather for a medical appointment. During this trip, Guardipee allegedly forced her onto his lap and digitally penetrated her.

At the time of these offenses, Guardipee was supposed to be registered as a sex offender following a previous conviction for sexual assault on May 22, 2023, in Cascade County District Court. However, he failed to comply with the registration requirement.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Kalah Paisley and investigated by several agencies including the FBI and Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services.

This prosecution is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), an initiative aimed at reducing violent crime through community cooperation and law enforcement collaboration. More details about PSN can be found at Justice.gov/PSN.
