A Cedar Rapids resident has been sentenced to over six years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl. Artadius Damon Robinson, 24, pleaded guilty on December 31, 2024, to one count of distribution of a controlled substance.
Court documents revealed that Robinson distributed thousands of fentanyl pills between April 2022 and August 2023 in the Cedar Rapids area. He reportedly claimed to earn $1,000 daily from selling fentanyl. During this period, Robinson was found with a firearm equipped with an extended drum magazine. Since 2020, he had been prohibited from possessing firearms due to two prior firearm-related felony convictions.
