Xavier Parker, a 31-year-old resident of Staten Island, New York, has been sentenced to 42 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl while on federal supervised release. The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Vermont announced that Parker was sentenced by United States District Judge William K. Sessions III on June 2, 2025.

Parker received an 18-month prison term followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to conspiracy charges related to distributing fentanyl in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, during February and March 2024. In addition, Judge Sessions imposed a consecutive 24-month sentence for violating the terms of his supervised release.

Court records reveal that Parker's offenses included multiple controlled drug purchases and possession of approximately 12.1 grams of cocaine base, 2.2 grams of fentanyl, 0.67 grams of heroin, and 5.6 grams of cocaine at the time of his arrest. These activities occurred while he was on federal supervised release following a previous conviction in August 2020 for conspiracy to distribute heroin and cocaine base.

Acting United States Attorney Michael P. Drescher acknowledged the joint efforts of Homeland Security Investigations and the Vermont State Police in investigating the case.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Nicole Cate and Michelle Arra prosecuted the case, with Chandler Matson serving as Parker's defense attorney.
