Robby Dewayne Tiger, a 41-year-old resident of Seminole County, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to one count of arson in Indian Country. This charge carries a potential sentence of up to life imprisonment.
According to the indictment, Tiger intentionally set fire to a dwelling on December 6, 2024. The act endangered the life of an individual and took place within the boundaries of the Seminole Nation Reservation in Seminole County, part of the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives along with the Seminole Lighthorse Police. The plea was accepted by U.S. Magistrate Judge D. Edward Snow in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. A presentence investigation report has been ordered.
A U.S. District Court Judge will determine Tiger's sentence after reviewing the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other relevant factors. Until sentencing is complete, Tiger will remain in custody under the United States Marshals Service.
