A Wolf Point man, Brickie Cole Jackson, has pleaded guilty to charges of distributing methamphetamine to a minor. U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme announced the plea on June 10, 2025. Jackson, aged 36, admitted to distributing methamphetamine to a person under 21 years old.

The legal consequences for Jackson include a mandatory minimum imprisonment term of one year and could extend up to 40 years. He also faces a potential fine of $2 million and at least six years of supervised release. Chief U.S. District Judge Brian M. Morris is set to determine the sentence on October 30, 2025, taking into account the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors. Until then, Jackson remains in detention.

Court documents revealed that law enforcement became involved in November 2023 after a student at Wolf Point High School tested positive for drug use and confessed to using drugs. The student, identified as Jane Doe, age 16, disclosed she had received methamphetamine from Jackson at his residence multiple times over several days in November.

In January 2024, Doe again reported spending time with Jackson at his house where he provided her with methamphetamine on more than one occasion. During an interview with authorities, Jackson admitted supplying Doe with the drug but claimed he believed she was 18 years old.

The case was prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office following an investigation conducted by the FBI along with Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice and Wolf Point Police Department.

This prosecution is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), an initiative aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence through collaboration between law enforcement agencies and communities. The program emphasizes building trust within communities and supporting organizations that work to prevent violence before it occurs.
