A Lowell resident, Scott Fournier, has entered a guilty plea in connection with distributing counterfeit methamphetamine pills, including to an Asian Boyz gang member. Fournier, also known as "S.G.," pleaded guilty to several charges related to methamphetamine distribution and possession.
U.S. District Court Judge Angel Kelley has scheduled sentencing for October 8, 2025. According to court documents, the investigation revealed that members of the Asian Boyz gang had access to homemade pills resembling Adderall but containing methamphetamine and caffeine.
Between March and May 2023, Fournier supplied over 2,000 methamphetamine pills to an Asian Boyz gang member for street distribution. His fingerprints were found on a bag containing these pills. Further investigation linked Fournier's supply operation to a storage unit in Tyngsborough, where security footage showed him accessing it frequently. A search of the unit in October 2023 uncovered over four kilograms of counterfeit Adderall pills made with methamphetamine.
Additionally, between April and October 2024, Fournier sold around 8,000 counterfeit methamphetamine pills during recorded transactions with a cooperating witness.
The charges against Fournier carry significant penalties. Distribution and possession with intent to distribute large quantities of methamphetamine could result in sentences ranging from ten years to life imprisonment and fines up to $10 million.
United States Attorney Leah B. Foley announced the case alongside Kimberly Milka from the FBI's Boston Division and Superintendent Gregory C. Hudon of the Lowell Police Department. The Massachusetts State Police and several local police departments provided assistance in the investigation.
This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), aimed at reducing violent crime through community trust-building and strategic enforcement priorities. It is also part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) operation targeting high-level criminal organizations.
The details within the charging documents are allegations until proven otherwise in court.
