Webinar offers resources to help military families avoid scams

Every year, military personnel and their families face significant financial losses due to fraud and scams. In 2024 alone, there were 99,000 fraud reports resulting in $584 million in losses.

In response to this issue, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Association of Bookmobile and Outreach Services (ABOS) are organizing a webinar. This event aims to provide valuable information on free resources designed to help military patrons identify, avoid, and report scams.
