A Billings woman was sentenced to 10 years in prison for drug-related offenses, according to an announcement from U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme. Tashauna Lee Goss, aged 33, admitted guilt in December 2024 to a charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

The sentencing took place under Chief U.S. District Judge Susan P. Watters. Court documents revealed that the DEA investigated a drug trafficking network operating out of Goss's residence in Billings, Montana, during 2023. The investigation suggested that Goss collaborated with Hispanic males involved in drug trafficking from Washington state.

Goss's home was reportedly used as a "stash house" for storing methamphetamine transported from Washington. She then sold the drugs to lower-level dealers in Billings. During controlled purchases conducted by agents, one instance on November 23, 2023, involved a source buying 52 grams of methamphetamine from Anthony Enemyhunter. Enemyhunter was sentenced to over ten years in prison earlier for his role in the operation and had obtained the meth from Goss and Anita Ballesteros. Ballesteros received an eight-year sentence in December 2024.

A search warrant executed at Goss's residence on January 19, 2024, resulted in the seizure of firearms, cash, and methamphetamine found within her bedroom. Text messages extracted from Ballesteros’s phone indicated that Goss was dealing methamphetamine by ounce quantities.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Julie Patten led the prosecution with assistance from several law enforcement agencies including the DEA and ATF among others.

This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence through collaborative efforts across various levels of law enforcement and community engagement initiatives.
