A New Hampshire couple has admitted guilt in federal court concerning a series of robberies that occurred in August 2024. On June 10, 2025, Christopher Boisvert pleaded guilty to armed bank robbery before Chief United States District Judge Christina Reiss. Two days later, Meghan Cox entered a guilty plea for conspiring to interfere with commerce by robbery.

If the District Court accepts their plea agreements, both Boisvert and Cox could face up to 20 years in prison. Their sentences will be determined based on the advisory United States Sentencing Guidelines and statutory factors. Sentencing is scheduled for September this year.

The case stems from events on August 26, 2024. Vermont State Police were alerted to an attempted robbery at Rolling Twenties, a cannabis dispensary in Rockingham, Vermont. Surveillance footage showed Boisvert and Cox arriving in a blue Chevrolet Silverado truck with obscured plates. They attempted to rob the business but left when denied entry.

Later that day, the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to a bank robbery at TD Bank in Bellows Falls, Vermont. The suspect matched Boisvert's description from the earlier incident and was seen carrying out another robbery using similar tactics.

An hour after this incident, Brattleboro Savings and Loan was also robbed. Boisvert again demanded money while threatening employees about knowing their families' addresses.

Law enforcement pursued the suspects into Massachusetts where they abandoned their vehicle at Athol Memorial Hospital. A subsequent investigation confirmed the identities of Boisvert and Cox through social media accounts and surveillance footage comparisons.

During a search of their vehicle, authorities found items linking them to the crimes including clothing worn during the robberies and weapons displayed during one of the incidents.

Acting United States Attorney Michael P. Drescher praised various law enforcement agencies for their investigative work on this case which falls under Operation Take Back America—a Department of Justice initiative against violent crime.

Assistant United States Attorney Thomas J. Aliberti is prosecuting the case with Federal Defender Michael Desautels representing Christopher Boisvert while Richard C. Bothfeld represents Meghan Cox.
