The Department of Defense has reported the death of a soldier involved in Operation Inherent Resolve. Sgt. 1st Class Emmett Wilfred Goodridge Jr., aged 40, from Roseville, Minnesota, passed away on June 15, 2025, at Camp Buehring in Kuwait due to a non-combat related incident. The circumstances surrounding his death are currently under investigation.
Sgt. Goodridge was part of the 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, within the 1st Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the 10th Mountain Division stationed at Fort Drum, New York.
