In a letter addressed to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, the President emphasized his commitment to keeping Congress informed in line with the War Powers Resolution (Public Law 93-148). He expressed appreciation for Congressional support regarding this military action.
