A Blue Grass resident, Christian Brew Allen, has been sentenced to 216 months in federal prison for producing child pornography. The sentencing took place on June 26, 2025, in Davenport, Iowa.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children provided CyberTips that led to the identification of an account linked to Allen. This account was found to have received, uploaded, and distributed files containing child sexual abuse material. Law enforcement conducted a search at Allen's residence in Blue Grass and seized electronic devices. A forensic examination revealed that these devices were used by Allen to handle over 2,000 images and 175 videos of child sexual abuse material. Additionally, the investigation showed that Allen produced and stored several videos involving a minor victim.
Following his prison term, Allen will serve an eight-year supervised release period. He is also required to pay $97,000 in restitution. In the federal system, there is no provision for parole.
United States Attorney Richard D. Westphal from the Southern District of Iowa announced the sentencing. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation.
This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative started by the Department of Justice in May 2006 aimed at addressing child sexual exploitation and abuse nationwide. The project involves U.S. Attorneys’ Offices along with federal, state, and local resources to prosecute offenders who exploit children online and rescue victims.
