U.S. Senator Joni Ernst has announced Continuum Ag of Washington County as the recipient of her Small Business of the Week award. This initiative is part of her plan to recognize small businesses across Iowa's 99 counties during the 119th Congress.
Senator Ernst, who serves as Chair of the Senate Small Business Committee, stated, "Since 2015, Continuum Ag has rooted themselves in helping farmers manage and improve their soil health." She added that the company partners with over 40 states and 20 countries to promote regenerative agricultural practices that assist farmers in making data-driven decisions.
Mitchell Hora, an alumnus of Iowa State University and a seventh-generation farmer, founded Continuum Ag in 2015. The company aims to aid farmers in collecting and interpreting soil health data. It employs a proprietary tool called TopSoil to enhance soil health management and provide valuable insights for farmers while collaborating with supply chain partners.
Senator Ernst plans to continue highlighting small businesses throughout Iowa with her Small Business of the Week award.
