Subcommittee announces bipartisan roundtable on artificial intelligence

Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation Chairwoman Nancy Mace has announced a bipartisan roundtable focused on artificial intelligence. The event, titled "Bipartisan Roundtable: Artificial Intelligence in the Real World," will take place on July 8, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. ET in the Rayburn House Office Building.

The roundtable will feature demonstrations from three AI companies: Anthropic, Knightscope, and Fiddler AI. Discussions will center around the impact of these technologies across various industries.

Chairwoman Mace emphasized the importance of staying competitive in the global AI landscape. "AI is driving the next wave of innovation around the world. The United States can’t afford to fall behind while the rest of the world harnesses this essential technology," she stated. She also noted that Congress aims to ensure AI is developed effectively and responsibly without hindering innovation.
