Leah B. Foley United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts | Department of Justice

A member of the Boston-based gang, H-Block, has been sentenced in federal court for drug conspiracy offenses. Dennis Wilson, also known as "Deuce," was sentenced to 77 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release. Wilson had pleaded guilty in April 2025 to charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances.

Wilson was among ten members and associates of the H-Block gang charged in August 2024 after a multi-year investigation initiated due to increased gang-related activities. The investigation led to the seizure of over 500 grams of cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, and more than 20,000 doses of drug-laced paper.

The H Block Street Gang is recognized as one of Boston's most feared gangs. Originally formed as the Humboldt Raiders in Roxbury during the 1980s, it re-emerged as H Block in the 2000s. Members have a history of violent encounters with law enforcement.

Between 2022 and 2023, Wilson engaged in distributing controlled substances like fentanyl and cocaine. He was involved in several drug deals with undercover officers.

The announcement was made by United States Attorney Leah B. Foley along with various law enforcement officials from agencies including the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The investigation received support from multiple state and local police departments.

The case falls under the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF), which targets high-level criminal organizations through a coordinated approach involving multiple agencies.

It is important to note that details from charging documents are allegations; other defendants remain presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.
