Clinton J. Johnson U.S. Attorney | U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma
A Mexican national has been sentenced for unlawfully reentering the United States and possessing a stolen vehicle and drugs. U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson announced that Rodrigo Chacon Villegas, 36, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Gregory K. Frizzell to 18 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
Chacon Villegas was found at the Tulsa County Jail in December 2024 after being arrested for driving a stolen vehicle and possessing methamphetamine and marijuana. He received a two-year suspended sentence in state court after pleading guilty.
Records indicate that Chacon Villegas has been deported from the United States four times previously. The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations investigated the case, which was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Michele Hulgaard.
