On July 9, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee will vote on the nomination of Susan Monarez for Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Following this vote, the committee will conduct a hearing to discuss the future of health care and strategies to enhance cybersecurity for protecting Americans' health privacy.
The agenda includes Monarez's nomination to lead the CDC under the Department of Health and Human Services. The session is scheduled for 9:30 AM ET at the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington.
