U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has released its operational statistics for June 2025, showing significant achievements in border enforcement. The agency reports a historic reduction in illegal crossings and notable drug seizures.

CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott stated, “From shutting down illegal crossings to seizing fentanyl and enforcing billions in tariffs, CBP is delivering results on every front. Under this administration, we are protecting this country with relentless focus, and the numbers prove it.”

The data indicates that illegal crossings have reached their lowest recorded level, marking a substantial decrease compared to previous years. Additionally, CBP seized 742 pounds of fentanyl in June, a 3% increase from May. Overall drug seizures rose by 13%, highlighting ongoing efforts against smuggling operations.

CBP continues to enforce U.S. trade laws at the border with multiple tariff actions implemented since January. These measures reflect the agency's commitment to safeguarding economic interests through audits and import reviews.

With over 65,000 personnel, CBP remains America's primary law enforcement organization responsible for managing borders on land, air, and sea while facilitating lawful travel and trade.
