Three felons sentenced for illegal reentry after deportation

Three Mexican nationals have been sentenced for illegally reentering the United States after having been previously deported. At the time of their charges and sentencing in federal court, each individual had prior convictions for multiple criminal offenses.

The announcement was made by Daniel P. Bubar, Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina, following the sentencing by U.S. District Judge Louise W. Flanagan. The cases were investigated by ICE and prosecuted by the National Security Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
