The United States Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania has announced charges against Guerdison Printus, a 27-year-old Haitian citizen. Printus was indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly causing destruction to government property.
Acting United States Attorney John Gurganus stated that the indictment accuses Printus of tampering with a sprinkler on or about June 25, 2025, in York County. This act reportedly resulted in water damage to the office space of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), with damages exceeding $1,000.
The investigation was conducted by ICE, and Assistant United States Attorney K. Wesley Mishoe is handling the prosecution.
If convicted, Printus faces a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment, one year of supervised release following imprisonment, a fine, and a special assessment. Sentencing will be determined by the court based on federal sentencing statutes and guidelines.
It is important to note that indictments are merely allegations, and all individuals charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
